This Friday BIRCH BOOK / IN GOWAN RING will be playing at Alberta St Pub opening for Waldteufel's "Herbstopfer," a celebration of the Harvest that incorporates
old German peasant lore and chants and ends with a meditation on earth
and ancestors, thereby pointing the way towards the festivities of
Autumn and Winter.

Songs from upcoming Birch Book album “Fortune & Folly” (to be issued Nov 28th) as well as other autumnal oddities will be offered for this Equinoxial passing.

At the Middle Earth Music Hall, Bradford, Vermont. If anyone is in the area, this is a GREAT venue for music. The hall is furnished with trees and lavish, darklit décor. A casual and intimate atmosphere, but most important the BEST sound of any venue I've played at. I hope a few folks will get to come out for this unique event with Pamela wyn Shannon and Rebecca Hall. Seven musicians in total.
In Gowan Ring will be: B'eirth (guitar, cittern, harp, whistles), Annabel Lee (violin), Michael Moynihan (bodhran) plus guest in-chimings of the other musicians.
